Uganda–Swiss Investment Summit 2026 Announces Guillaume Watine as Speaker

The Uganda–Swiss Investment Summit 2026 will feature Guillaume Watine, Senior Crude Oil & Feedstock Trader at Sahara Energy, as a distinguished speaker at the upcoming summit in Geneva, Switzerland.

With more than 20 years of experience in global petroleum markets, Watine brings extensive expertise spanning African, North Sea and Mediterranean markets. His work combines market intelligence, risk management and international trading operations.

At Sahara Energy, Watine manages the fuel oil and feedstock trading book, with a particular focus on African refining, petroleum markets and export flows. His experience across Africa, Europe and Asia offers insights into the connections between African energy resources, international markets and investment opportunities.

The Uganda–Swiss Investment Summit, scheduled for 15 October 2026, will bring together investors, business leaders, government representatives, entrepreneurs, trade professionals and international partners to explore investment opportunities across key sectors of Uganda’s economy and strengthen trade and investment ties between Uganda and Switzerland.
