By This December, the Uganda Diaspora Network (UDN) brings Ugandans from across the globe to Kampala for the 16th Annual Diaspora Homecoming Business Breakfast and Gala Dinner, a gathering built around connection, celebration and opportunity.
On Tuesday, December 29, the Homecoming will feature a Business Breakfast Meet-up, bringing together professionals, entrepreneurs, investors and members of the diaspora community to discuss topical issues including national IDs, citizenship, life insurance, real estate, mortgage financing, diaspora banking and investment opportunities. The breakfast is powered by BBS Television, UDN’s media partner, which will broadcast the event live.
The celebrations continue on Wednesday, December 30, with the Gala Dinner, featuring comedy, fashion, awards and business networking, among the highlights of the evening.
Guests will also enjoy a special appearance by the Ghetto Kids, fresh from their World Cup half-time performance.
For Ugandans abroad, it is a chance to reconnect, explore new possibilities in Uganda through the people, ideas and networks of its global diaspora, and make connections that extend far beyond the festive season.
